Who the hell am I and what gives me the right to write about Infomercials and all the

Because, boys and girls, I also wrote "How to Make a Successful British Movie"

and I was commissioned by the"Comedy Writers Association of Great Britain"
to appear at Nottingham University and give a lecture on Film-making for half an hour to
the International Seminar of Comedy Writers.
After half an hour had gone by I was asked to continue for another half an hour and this went on for 2 hours and only stopped because the University kitchen staff wanted the seminar members to have their lunch so they could clear up and go home.
The lecture as you can see by the hours spent was a complete success and so moved one of its members to proclaim
"I’m NOW going back to Sweden to make a Movie"
I also wrote, produced and directed the pilot movie "Colour Blind" spending every last penny I had on getting 3 hours in the can, starting in the Penthouse suite in the Hyatt, finishing off in a mansion with indoor swimming pools, putting up all the crew and actors in a hotel for 3 days and spending under 5000 bucks for the whole shooting match.
What do you think, am I qualified?
What I do well is communicate in an easy to understand way, and make it very simple.
In fact I’ll say this, if you can cut and paste, you can do what I’m going to show you.
I can reduce a 200 page book down to 10 pages of facts. So don’t be surprised if this "book" is more like a booklet. You haven’t bought a 200 page packed with crap filling, to give a perceived value.
You have bought a pure and simple product that gives you everything you need to know without confusing garbage included.
M y view, has been, will always be, is that if I can find out something I don’t know about and learn in a book or whatever, I have had my threepenny worth.
So I am well qualified to write this new ebook. I have been there. Spent everything I had
doing it. Learnt the hard lessons and mistakes. Paid the price, after I had put the last
of my money in making a pilot film, even brought 1 actor over from LA then with 3 days to
go before the start of the shoot, the Film Investment company went tits up and I lost ALL.
Others did too. Crew, Actors all given up work to make this movie because it was our chance
for all or any of us to hit the big league.
Put your tissues away. Pay strict attention. This could be worth thousands, hundreds of thousands to you. No bullshit. Hit the right buttons and voila, you’ve cracked it and I wish you every success.
Don’t ever quit. Just do what has to be done.

How do Infomercials differ from a page ad?
They return a fast profit. When done correctly, no other advertising medium can provide the return on an investment as fast as an infomercial.
They motivate consumers to tell others. When a consumer watches an infomercial and is persuaded to purchase the product, he or she will usually tell their friends about it.
This especially occurs on infomercials that give free offers for people who recommend the products to their peers.
They make products easily available. An infomercial is designed so that the consumer can click a mouse or pick up the phone and order the product from the comfort of their home. This easy access to a product often serves as a persuasive technique all on its own.
They encourage consumers to act. Most infomercials give special offers to consumers who
purchase the product within a certain time period after the ad has ran. Although this
gives a consumer little time to think about their purchase, it encourages the great
phenomenon known as the impulse-buy. This kind of buying drives up the profit of the
product.
So why trifle with texting or instant messaging when you can get your message across the
rest of the world via your very own online video sales pitch.
The global spread of mobile phones and digital cameras with video capability has spawned a
new form of web based television that is exploding in popularity.
